+ How to choose good embroidered clothing and workwe (04/01/2012 - 23:41:18)
When looking to purchase an item of clothing to have personalised with your company logo, you will probably do a search on the net for a company that can supply you with the items you are looking for. You may then get prices that vary drastically between suppliers.
Why are company A more expensive than company B?
Good embroidery onto workwear or other clothing including sportswear starts with the digitising of your logo. This is a highly skillful job and not only takes a long time to master but the software for this is very expensive as well. There is no point in buying work uniforms for your staff to portray a profesional image of your business if the logo that has been embroidered onto the polo shirts does not look right. You should be paying between £20.00 - £35.00 for a left breast logo to be digitised. There is more on this subject but if you would like any advice on the above then please feel free to call and we can give you further advice.
The other factor is the quality of clothing that is to be embroidered. We all buy our polo shirts for example from the same few suppliers (wholesalers), and to a degree are all paying the same price. we then put a small margin on that garment the same as any business does when selling something. So what do you think the true value of the polo shirt is when you get quoted just £3.95 or less for a shirt including embroidery? Just remember the price you pay like anything else in life will reflect on the quality of the garment and the embroidery.
Always try to compare like for like when possible, because a polo shirt that cost less than a fiver with an embroidered logo will not be the same as one that cost just under a tenner.
Any good supplier of work clothing should always listen to your needs first, then make a few suggestions for you to choose from. Remember! buy cheap - buy twice.
